UPC Wireless Internet keeps losing connection every 1 min or less

My UPC (Horizon) wirelesss internet loses connectivity on my Windows 7 PC (Dell Studio XPS 8100) every few minutes. In the last day or two it's got worse and can even by every 20 seconds or less. I get the No Connectivity warning (yellow triangle) in my taskbar and I have to disconnect and reconnect the internet. Even after doing that I can lose the connection again within seconds. Often I have to restart my Horizon box and after that the internet can last a bit longer.

This never happens on the Windows 8 laptop or iPod in my house.

Could it be something to do with my NETGEAR wireless adapter? It's a NETGEAR WNA3100.

    Thanks in advance. :)
