    Hey all,
Keys generally rip up my pockets after a few months, and I generally only find out when I'm down change  So I'm looking to just have the pockets of my jeans replaced with pockets made of something sturdier, but still washable.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows of a seamster/seamstress that is good at replacing pockets with better pockets (and not just sewing up the holes, as that's just delaying the problem), and how much do they charge per pair of jeans?

Not in Dublin but I get my husband's pockets replaced in the Zipyard in Douglas Cork which is a nationwide franchise I think so there's possibly one near you. Any dressmaker/tailor should be able to do it though I would think. They told me they use curtain lining material as its stronger and it costs €10 to get a pocket replaced. HTH.

Awesomeness; there's a Zipyard place in Maynooth. Shall check it out on Saturday :)
