Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can only try but it is very tough to tone down how I speak. If you go through my posts on Boards my tone doesn't change, that's because in person I speak like this. I can only advise people to put me on ignore. Out of respect for you and the forum I will attempt to celebrate less, the focus should be the game, not me.

Edit: I didn't see your edit till after I posted this.

Ah now, I know Di Maria is having a good game but...

Well I am watching the game so that will happen from time to time. If I typed everything I shout out I'd never see the game, Iniesta's goal alone would have taken up 10 minutes.

In reference to my previous post, I'm only seeing this now.

Why? If you read that last post, no one should be wound up.
I find them funny and quite useful for writing an essay. Great descriptions and loads of adjectives. Like something out of a romantic novel!!!!

Why you getting narky with him???

Because he is clearly trolling. Clearly. Thank God for the ignore button.

In the face of ravenous beasts Barcelona have rallied and matched their much vaunted rivals. Xavi Hernandez has turned back the clock in central midfield tonight, give the man 3 more years as Barcelona's heartbeat. Pique's outstanding at the back, a barrier upon which many waves of Madrid attacks have crashed. Really it's only been Alves and Mascherano who have been lacking. Barcelona have gone toe to toe with a ferocious Real Madrid side at the Bernabeu, Barcelona's footballing philosophy has proven timeless.

Your shtick is getting a bit stale now, kid.

    Indeed. Again.

Everyone: This thread is not to discuss Aig. It will be a very stupid way to pick up a card and ban. Do not do it.

A draw is probably acceptable for Real.

    Barca need to win however.

    "Gerard Pique is Mr. Shakira."

Probably the best bit of football commentary ever?

    Ronaldo scores

Contact made outside the box but it's very close.

Never any doubt Ronny would miss.

Commentators always get that one wrong, if the foul ends in the box, its a penalty.

Foul just outside, couple of steps then the dive. At least red card wasn't shown.

Foul didn't end in the box. Ronaldo fell into it. Quality of refereeing in the sport in general is abysmal tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

Should have been a free kick but you can't blame the ref. Advantage should go to the attackers.
