Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Foul didn't end in the box. Ronaldo fell into it. Quality of refereeing in the sport in general is abysmal tbh

You're right, I was too hasty. Definitely wasn't a dive though.

What  The foul was outside the box!

Foul just outside, couple of steps then the dive. At least red card wasn't shown.

Not for all the efforts of Real players

At the speed Ronaldo was going at he was always going to fall when a player made contact with him. He did make it more theatrical though and it happened outside the box so Barca are justifiably outraged.

It should have been a free outside the box.

    Travesty.

Very unlucky for barca there.... But the ref thought it was inside. Definite foul though.

Fabregas needs to be taken off.

Anyway, quality pen from Ronnie. Real really should be 2 or 3 up though.

The Mighty machine of Real Madrid, battled valiantly against the fearsome warthog of Barcelona and their just desserts were served fresh in the form of an exquisite powerhouse of a penalty by the World's greatest ever player Ronaldo!

    (Am I doing it right?)

Ronaldo would have scored the freekick anyway;)

    Nah shocking decision.

How can a foul start in one place and end in another? And yeah he dived...it was a stumble from the foul but he full on dived to make it more realistic

Shocking dive from Ronaldo. How does the ref not see it.

But it was a foul, ref just misjudged it by a few inches

Even the defenders are diving now, it's so sad.

    My predictions:

Ramos or Pepe to get sent off.
    A controversial penalty.
Both Messi and Ronaldo to score.
    Bale to score.
    Real Madrid win.

    2 down, three to go.

Anyone that doesnt that was a foul has never had their feet tapped when running at speed

What's wrong with a Barca fan saying 'we'? Anymore than a fan of any other club?

Clasico threads bug the ****e out of me. Seemingly this is the first La Liga match alot of people watch for quite a while and go crazy when its not like the super manly Premiership. In terms of Classicos and in fact La Liga games, this has been mild enough in terms of bad sportsmanship.

It was a foul...outside the box...nobody is denying that. Ronaldo stumbled after getting fouled but then dived to make the foul look a lot worse

He's always going to fall alright but judging from the replays, again there was barely any contact. Would Paul O'Connell have gone to ground under that contact? We all know Ronaldo is diving again but we don't want to admit it.

    "we"

Not a thing wrong with the man saying "we" when referring to his team.

Pretty sure it's where the foul starts. Where does it say it's where it finishes?

    Ramos off
    Edit' actually you're right.

Couldn't agree more. This is nothing compared to the farce these games would become when Mourinho was in charge.

Lol, and there is another red for Ramos.

That was far more of a dive than Ronaldo's "dive".
