Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Headphone to RCA cable on Samsung TV

Bought a Samsung 46inch led tv today. There is no audio out rca on the back of the tv. My older 32inch did, and I could run cable from tv to audio in on my stereo.
There is an optical audio out on the back of new tv, also a headphone jack.
If I get a headphone to rca cable will it solve my audio problem?
Or there is a optical to rca cable I could get either but it's much dearer.
Anyone got any experience of this or got any tips?

    Thanks.

Headphone to rca is your best option, it's the lesser of two evils. The optical to rca is usually an expensive converter.
Be warned that the headphone socket is a lot poorer signal quality than the rca of your old TV.

No it doesn't. I'll try the headphone to rca cable and see what its like. Can get one for a few euro on ebay. If the sound is poor I'll get the optical to rca, they're around 20 euro.
