Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Honestly, how long are United's board and backers gonna put up with this?

Ah the second half was utterly embarrassing and pathetic. I don't think many would disagree with me on that count, either.

The most embarrassing thing is that United fans thinking they had a chance. They got trounced by a City team who barely broke a sweat.

Don't know how that United team are not being booed off the pitch.

As I said after 2 minutes, a spineless team.

Embarrassing for United to say the least. City showed such class.

worst premier league title defense ever?

Bayern will beat United by double figures, they're just so terrible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,772 ✭✭✭jameshayes

cant even use the excuse 'utd were pushing forward, thats why the 3rd goal went in' if anything, we were more defensive for the 3rd goal - just not bothered.

Very surprised they weren't booed at the end, do the fans still support Moyes?

It was a steady, comfortable 2nd gear type performance by us tonight. The mind boggles what we could have achieved if we really tried, and had a stronger ref. The 6-1 would have been eclipsed. Oliver was poor in the middle tonight.

Hard luck United. Gave it their best attempt but in the end were just....sh*te.

I'd easily say the vast majority are against him now but the match going fans will not boo him off in front of a big rivals fans.

Instead of fans moaning about the players not showing any passion, they need to start showing passion and start booing the feck out of Moyes. Leaving early doesn't have the same effect.

It will happen though, and may the more shocking when it does. I really don't think Ferguson envisaged apathetic performances like this as bad times!

I know Rooney is getting a nice paycheck from united now, but he really is different class than the whole squad there. Shame he is with them as he deserves champions league football and might not get it again for many a year.

I suppose the money will bring him a little comfort.

Toure's gentle jog about the pitch summed up the effort required to put 3 goals in the Utd net. That was a dejected Utd team.

Where was the fire, which is typical of these derbies?

If the club stick with the Donkey SAF appointed we will, given time end up in the Championship.
Time and time again Moyes has proved the club and the job are beyond him.
Also sad to see Bobby Charlton having to come out and bat for Moyes.

First time MUFC have lost six in league at home since 1978. Worst-ever PL points tally guaranteed. This mess won't be fixed quickly

He stayed because of the money on offer simple as that. If anyone had offered money like that he'd have gone. Could be a few years before he sees champions league football again after the Munich games.

Well in glad I didn't take the morning off work to watch that.
Concede in the first minute, that is just too funny.
Another shambles of a performance by the sounds of things. I know our defenders are pretty average at best but how moyes can't get them to be organised is beyond me. He is a defensive minded coach and his Everton teams were always hard to be beat so he needs to sort that out first surely.

What is going on with united. You cannot blame Moyes. It's the team. United haven't a hope of beating Bayern with the form they are in now.

Moyes is off his box if he thinks that Fellaini elbow wasn't even a free, it was like a scene out of Harry Enfield when he used to take the piss out of Drogba. Absolutely bizarre and needless.
