Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

its far cheaper to have a very good / excellent manager having average - slightly above average players playing above their level, than it will be to have an average manager like moyes and spend god knows what on weekly wages for multiple players, and even then its far from a guarantee if they will even make it back inside the top 4!!!

I'm starting to think now that Moyes was a great manager for Everton for a while but needed someone with more of a footballing brain like Martinez to take them over to take them to the next level. These rumours of Coleman going to Man U I would hope are nonsense, he's way better off where he is. I just think Utd need a big name manager, they should have gotten Mourinho I can't think of anyone else with the character required for such a big club. Signing Fellaini for that money was ridiculous.
Going to Fulham V Everton on Sunday and I think the boys in blue are the better team that Utd this season, but Moyes did a great job there. I don't think he's suited to the big boys though, they need someone with more pedigree, but I also think if he's given time he might build a strong team. I'm just hoping Everton can stay above Utd this season, quite an achievement for the lads, and shows that Martinez is really a top class manager. I can see Martinez at Utd or Arsenal maybe at some stage, I think he'd suit Arsenal tbh.
