Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Because United have let them immediately get into their groove! Check out City's closing down of United's players. It is absolutely embarrassing tactics.

Rafael has been a massive letdown. Thought he was going to be a Brazil regular when he first moved to United.

    Shocking from Welbeck.

Not the foul, as I think he tripped himself up, the over running of the ball was very poor.

Wellbeck tripped / slipped , wasnt a challenge

He slipped. It was obvious first time seeing it. And then in the replay, his left foot slips on the grass, no stopping him, and he goes through the city player

De Gea is such a good GK. Be lucky if he doesn't go to Madrid/Barca in the summer.

Whether you slip, slide, or teleport through miraculous intervention, you can't take a player out in the manner that Welbeck did.

    Was a yellow. Nothing more.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,304 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Why did the Sky lads just ignore the fact Welbeck tripped himself? Sounded like they thought a red would have been an ok decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Kompany is all over the place here.

Sky go/mobile tv working for anyone? :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 200 ✭✭DM360

He went to make a challenge and slipped. He definitely intended to slide for the ball. Slip or not, he flew knees first into another player's legs. A red wouldn't have been unjustified.

True but the way that clown Neville saw it, Welbeck should have been gone.

Ya got to feel for De gea at times young keeper under lot of pressure has be come a huge player for us after shaky first season but ffs he's playing on his own there at the back at times.

Nothing worse for a keeper when ur defence just leave u hanging constantly because the keeper always gets the blame.

the fact its only 1 nil when it should be 3 nil can only be a positive for utd

    No why?

He had ample opportunity to pull out of it just before there was a heavy touch, or deflection off the City player, but he continued a hopeless cause at pace and clipped himself whilst smashing into a player.

    Could have easily gone.

you know you can get sent off without even contacting a player, yea?
