Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The sponsor logos ruin the Swansea kits. The away one especially.

    Excuse the bad photoshop.

The home one would be lovely with a simple sponsor

Looks tidy but why the hell does umbro have to be written on the sleeves. It kinda takes the classic look off it.

Macron and Puma have set a horrible precedent in modern times.

Arguably Adidas were one of the first to brand the sleeves but it was fashionable at the time.

Bilbao home shirt is quite smart looking.

The Swansea one is basically a sponsor's logo with a football shirt lurking somewhere behind it.

It's my favourite home kit in a long time. None of the mad white sleeves and bib nonsense.

Does the lad behind have a prosthetic leg or really thin legs?

EDIT: Forget that, it is a prosthetic. Launch video below

    Third

Also, weird promotional images for the new Fulham kit. Adidas are really proud of using orange, apparently.

^^ So, pretty much the 08/09 away with Puma's logo replacing Nike's

Wouldnt say its the exact same now. By that logic, the 89 jersey would be the same only it had an adidas logo. Arsenal have traditionally wore yellow with navy since the late 80s and the 89 design has always held certain appeal to the Arsenal supporters given the events at Anfield on May 26th of that year

I think you'll find it goes back a bit further than that, Sure the 71 cup final v Liverpool was won wearing what is now considered a classic yellow shirt... & I think most gooners consider yellow & blue as the default away kit.

Always had a soft spot for the green/blue away kit in 82 though.... a tad unusual that one.

Yellow with Royal trim in the 70s, yellow with navy from the 80s on.

Have it hanging in my wardrobe along with the 1971 home & away & 1930's retro kits, much prefer the retro stuff, but maybe that's an age thing what with me being a gooner nearly 40 years now.
The new away kit is okay, neck looks a tad big for me though.

What an utterly dreadful sponsor Marathon is. Fúcks up even the Fulham shirt.
That said, wouldnt like to be seen going around with 'crabbies' on the front or back of my top :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,424 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

the Proclaimers said to run 500 miles, but it would at least take 26 miles of a marathon to run away from that top.

    Utterly horrible.

worst top i have seen here. it is even worse then Liverpools rank away strip last year and that took some going

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,285 ✭✭✭Frankie Lee

Worst kit in Hibs history surely.
