Worst kit in Hibs history surely.

Nike are producing some crap for them. Puma to their credit had a few nice kits. Nike are the only cost efficient company who charge a massive premium for their products. At least even Adidas go to the bother of adding the stripes and extra flashing on their garments. I think the reason that many of Nikes kits are generic is that the deal is signed via a third party, ie there is no direct negotiation with Nike. However, it would appear that it is worth a bit more money.

Le Coq Sportif made some lovely ones. The 09/10 home was one of the nicest.

Diagonal stripes? You'd need to be pretty svelte to get away with wearing that imo.

New Celtic third jersey, think it's very nice, small bit like an Offaly GAA one!

Not bad there. Green bit on sleeve just little annoying should have kept it all white, otherwise decent.

I like that look. Not a fan of the quality of Nike tops myself but that design is pretty sharp looking.

    http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/387669/The-kit-is-s-and-worse-than-Man-United-s-Liverpool-fans-blast-lauch-of-new-third-strip

Kopites rushed to Twitter to slam the club's new black and red strip, which was unveiled hours after Manchester United released their home kit.

    A user named LFC365forever wrote: "Liverpool third kit for 14/15 is out, totally same with the rumour one, s***! #lfc #ynwa #kop #liverpool #liverpoolfc #lfcfamily #anfield"

One United fan said: "Just when you think, f*** me uniteds new kit is a bit s***, Liverpool pop up with another absolute pearler. That away kit is vile."

Another added: "Man Utd new kit is laughable, but it's still nowhere near the atrocity Liverpool's 3rd kit is. That piece of s*** is just abysmal #LFC #mufc"

The strip, produced by Warrior and sponsored by Standard Chartered, will be worn in domestic competitions including the Premier League.

It will also serve as the European away kit as the Reds make their comeback to the Champions League after a five-year absence.

Kop hero Luis Garcia said: “As a former player and now a fan I’m so excited to see Liverpool back in the Champions League.

“I love the way this shirt looks. The red collar on the black shirt gives it a very stylish look and as always, Warrior have incorporated the best material and details to keep players comfortable whilst playing."

The Umbro "The Rangers" home jersey/kit has been quite nice recently.

    That is really bad though.

Very disappointed that this turned out to be real, I do think it's a nice jersey but there just isn't enough blue to be the home kit.

Be a really nice 3rd/European kit, far too little blue for home. We could play a team wearing all blue in that kit without it clashing.Too much of departure from tradition, red kit last year, now this.

It's usually a good idea to get your most photogenic players to model your new kit . I can only assume that no one ever told Derby this, or those lads are in fact the three most photogenic players they have!

Apologies if it's been asked already, but what's the story with the Southampton kit not having a manufacturers logo on it? Or am I missing it?

They are manufacturing their own kit this season. Same as Roma last season.

Yeah mixed reviews is a kind way to put it. Personally I dont mind it, a change from the usual but as a whole with the full kit,the players shouldn't look too drastically different.

Always loved their kits.. and these ones are on my list now.. anyone know best place to buy these?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,752 ✭✭✭Mr Blobby

Why would they make the crest blend?

Having the home crest black and the away crest gold would have made it much nicer.

Keep an eye on Subside (http://www.subsidesports.com/uk/), I'm sure they'll get them in at some stage.

Yes very much like what you would think their away top would look like not the home top. I can see where some of their fans would be unhappy with it although personally I usually like tops with pin stripes.

Going for a viral approach I think,

Loving it without that sponsor, been years since they used that particular blue.

Creepy as hell and why does a Blackburn home shirt have sky blue?

As for the West Brom one above, always dangerous to deviate from tradition but Southampton did something similar a couple of years ago when they returned to PL and it was the nicest shirt in the league. It was no one-off either; they kept a predominantly red shirt when they switched to Adidas and there didn't seem to be too much of a revolt from what I know.
