    zzzzzzzzzzzz

Was like that yesterday. Tried thinking that if I stayed in bed and couldn't go, I'd be ok.

I totally do! I'll try anything to make it feel less difficult :pac::pac:

Except I have been doing BB OHP recently instead. Still not easier :(

Do you think it's easier yea? I might try palms out next time
I'm trying to mix it up with the barbell ones

A little - it feels a 'stronger' position for me if that makes sense. I also think it can be easier on the shoulders if you have any shoulder issues (I don't, because I don't have any shoulders :o)

Sounds like a good idea - always pays to listen to your body imo.

    o/
Massage was great. Definitely gonna go back. Even though he did do my IT band. "how come you aren't screaming?"
Did some walks/jogs in the fresh air during the week. Easier than they used to be. I <3 you xtrainer
Sort of gave up tracking calories the last couple days also. Be grand to start that again tomorrow.
Took tomorrow off to study so I am currently in denial mode and playing games all day ...

    Anyway, on to today's log
The gym was roasting and I didn't feel like doing anything serious so:

    Toe squat
    20 x5
    30 x3
    40 x3

(these were stiff and a bit too bendy instead of upright today)

    LB squat
    50 x2
    60 x2
    65 x2
    70 x1
    75 (=90%) x1
    (grand)
    60 x3

    Bench (comp pause)
    20 x8
    30 x3
    35 x3
    40 x1
    42.5 (=90%) x5
(room for more reps, not amrap)
    37.5 x5

    Assisted dips
    Purple band: 10 reps
    Black gym band: 5 reps

Found the black band with the other gym ones. Thinner than my purple one for sure. Gonna try use it again next time

    Time taken 50 mins

    Reverse Flys are incredibly humbling.

You laugh picking up small weights and then realise you're weak as you start.

Well... I completely misread today's program. I thought it was deadlifts 95% 2x1... It was bench :(
On the plus side i got to test my belt with DLs and it was awesome. Especially considering i haven't really been doing heavy dls at all

Super wrecked today. Exams Tuesday and Wednesday. Can't wait for them to be over.
Saw programme and said no way I'll manage 72 today at all. Just about did

    Sq
    50 x2
    60 x2
    65 x1
    With belt
    72.5 x...2 2 1 2 2
Recorded the single rep in the middle there as I wasn't positive about depth. Think it's there though. Critiques welcome. Shout for vid link

Didn't think toe elevated squats could be shortened further than toe squats but maybe TSQ? :)

    Exams are overrrrrr
    3.5hrs x 2
Was so exhausted and drained after each one, and i wasn't the only one. all you're fit for is bed
    lol

    Ok today's session

    Toe squats
    20 x5
    30 x5
    40 x3

    Squat
    50 x3
    60 5x5

    Total disaster.
    set 1 - wobbly - wtf
sets 2-3 - kept GMing when i was tired. thought I kicked that habit
sets 4-5 - forced myself to grind up. felt glacial slow. Reminded myself it was probably one of those things where you think it's insanely slow but looks normal speed to everyone else so kept at it
yuck!! and that was only 72.5%!! It was supposed to be 6x5 so I dropped last set down to try get it half decent

    Bench
    20 x8
    30 x5
    35 x3
    40 x ... 7 + 4x5
I was supposed to 75% but that was more like 85%. I am numbers good
    -ss-
    assisted dips purple
    3x7

    15 mins jog / 2km
Started off all slow then ended up at 10kph
    lovely

Don't mind today being a disaster after being in such a state the last two days!
