    utterly ****e workout today.
    feeling very run down and had a nap this afternoon. wanted to stay on the couch. thankfully i have tomorrow off work or i'd cry. it'll be a books/games day of rest

    after going absolutely stir crazy the last while, did a short tester jog yesterday and hit the gym today
    yay!

    tempo squat 65kg 6x3
    tempo RDL 50kg 4x6
    DB bench 15kg x 10, 8, 5
    -ss-
    Flyes 10kg x 10, 8, 7

    tank was empty by the time i got near the dumbbells but squats were easy
    haven't been near the scales... probs a few kg of dessert added on there!

    If it's any consolation, after having to restart a peaking block because of chest aids, at the very same stage I stopped the first time, I got the vomiting bug and lost half a stone in 2 days.

    So no peak and no test.

    Sad times.

    finished off that last week
    went last week only once as i was fairly sapped. felt like coming down with something. did not in the end

    this week is about being more active and shedding a few kgs over the next while

    monday - spinning & xtrainer
    tuesday - lifting & xtrainer. was a bit weaker than usual
    today - spinning, lifting, walking til i hit 10k steps
    deadlifts were post-spinning so only lifted up to 120kg. tempo bench was grand at 47.5kg tho

    Eh did come down with something in the end, off work, then barely recovered and was straight into hens and wedding sooo no training
    Will try walk/run and push ups or whatever. Asking coach for ideas
    No pull up bar in my current place

    How heavy are your dumbbells? My home workouts ended after two attempts. I just can't do it at home. I switched to cycling for next 3 months.

    7.5kg x2. I got sick of it as well. Coach is working with me to try and get going again now that my busy work and exam period is over. I suppose with another 3-4 months to go I need to try not lose (too much) muscle.
    Still hate fiddly little dumbbells instead of proper heavy weight tho
