    Don't read it. Problem solved.
    Pointless reply IMO

Can I ask why you started the thread? Do you want advice? Suggestions on what festivals he's not playing? Or are you just venting?

Thread will probably be close...but my two cents is that they are a very good live act and more suited to a festival than indoors.

    Have you seen them live?

I don't like chic much either. Have they become compulsory? If so, I'm down with this thread. In not .... meh.

    Waste of Internet.

Any promoters reading your excellent review will be encouraged to sign them up even more now.

They seem a good festival band choice, people might not pay to see them on their own, they might only know a few songs and not know what to expect. I am often surprised how much I like some bands at festivals, having a forced short set to a crowd who might not know them usually means they do a "best of" set.

What is the point of this thread?
If people started threads on every band or group they didn't like this forum would be overrun.

    Bit ridiculous.
Trivial things that annoy you in after hours would be a perfect thread.

OP I don't really see what you can do about this, maybe just go to another stage or something, didn't you post this in the EP thread too.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Methinks the OP doth protest too much...
