Any tips? Is it 20/30 minute process? Did everyone who has gone/been already really write lists for declaration? How specific do you have to be?

"When you arrive in Canada, you will have to go through two screening interviews."

• Two (2) copies of a detailed list of all the personal or household items you are bringing with you
• Two (2) copies of a list of items that are arriving later and their money value

This is only an issue if you are sending a shipment of belongings after
If you don't declare them now you will be stung for import duty
It's more for people who are immigrating to Canada as opposed to WHVs

Ah nice one, so it's a quick chat with the immigration guys and hand the declaration card filled on in the air before landing?
