I have had that before. It can take a bit of time to show that you have renewed. It happened me just once and took a few hours for me get back into an online game.

go to commerce.microsoft.com , log in, then go to subscriptions.

it should show up there,

if not, try redeeming the code again,

if that doesnt work, try the live help chat box from a laptop. I've found them to be very efficient.


Oh, and a hard reset / router reboot never hurt anyone, just in case.

One more thing to try: go into your XBox settings, Network, Advanced, MAC Address and then Clear.

I notice this every now and then with certain games I play. For example, in Forza Horizon 3, when I try to join an online adventure, it says it found a session, but then I fail to join. The game gives no error whatsoever, but this works after I do the steps above.

Same thing happens in GTA5, when I try to access the BAWSAQ market, gives back an error saying that the service is unavailable. But after doing the steps above, it works.

Both the above features are XBox Live related. I don't know why this is happening to me, but I know that the workaround sorts it out.

be interesting to see if they maintain that with the pspro coming out.

Although, we're definitely at the stage now where people who had initially committed to one brand or the other are now finding the second console more affordable than at launch.

I saw on reddit that they are still selling xbox 360 games in stores, but have rebranded the backwards compatible ones to indicate that they are now playable on xbox one.

How do I install wallpapers from the Xbox site to my One:

Do i need to do it from a PC, save the image to a stick and insert the stick into my One?

Can I access and download wallpapers directly from the One itself?

I save wallpapers into my onedrive, then use media server app on my phone (I use BubbleUPnP) along with the media player app on Xbox to set them as wallpapers.

Pretty sure both metro games were gwg already.

Edit- scratch that they were both 360 versions.

Its the fact that metro was gwg on 360 that makes me pretty confident that it will be gwg on xb1 soon.

I have it , but have only completed metro 2033. It's a very atmospheric old school shooter with a hint of survival game depending on the difficulty level picked. TBH at that price its a must buy for everyone. A great game.
