For anyone who has ordered Scorpio with Amazon I've just had a £20 credit applied to my order.

Amazon are running a £20 off with orders over £150 using the code VG20OFF150. I contacted support and they added the discount straight away. Scorpio will now be €475 at today's exchange rate.

it will depend on the amount of preorders they have for each store. If a store has low pre-orders in store they wont bother.

Contacted them by email and apparently they won't be doing it.

Are you talking about Smyths? They have to surely if they're sold out.

Apparently Keyboard and Mouse support is in the new Minecraft Beta. Interesting if they allow this in all games, PUBG would be the main one I'm thinking of.

    remember this conversation?

Nice to see I was proved right all along but then again this is what a x86 platform allows you to do.

I actually used the onsite queries option so can't remember if I asked about a specific store but the reply made it seem like they wouldn't be having one at all.

Are there any Bomberman games available for the Xbox One?

No, there's not. A source of much frustration, Bomberman hasn't seen a console release since 2010, back on the Xbox 360. That changed this year with Super Bomberman R on the switch, but no news on a new release for Xbox or PS4.

It's like Konami don't like money.

While there's no Xbox One release, the Xbox 360 release Bomberman Battlefest is backward compatible, so will work on Xbox One

Hey all, I picked up a cheap Xbox one s 1tb today.
Not sure whether to keep for myself or give it to a nephew for Xmas as I already have a ps4.

What good exclusives do Xbox have that would tempt me over to the dark side?
The 4k bluray would be only beneficial for the future as I won't be buying a 4k TV any time soon.

    Thanks in advance.

The Forza franchise driving/racing games are excellent. If you're a fan of EA titles, you can play many of their titles via EA Access for €25 a year.

Ah now, its not that bad. Close, but not quite.

Off the top of my head, I'd recommend

    Sunset Overdrive
    Halo 5
    All the Forza Games
All the Gears of War Games
    Halo Master Chief Collection
    Quantum Break

Bugger all exclusives. Best feature is game sharing imo, then the games subscription services.

That's happening this last week or two at least, some captures don't even show up, have tried reinstalling the app to some success but captures still not showing up tho and if they do you get that error code again

Scorpio Edition was a limited edition console.
In September they will be announcing pre-orders for the 'normal' Xbox One X editions.

The Scorpio Edition just has an extra skin and a vertical stand, otherwise it is exactly the same as a standard X.
(Didn't stop me preordering one, though :))

I missed out on it. I even was on the smyths website ready to order but just said to myself. Ah I don't need it as I have a gaming PC so I have good graphics already on that.

I may get the normal X eventually just not on release date but that could change once I start getting jealous of everyone posting about how great it is etc....

144hz 1440p Gsync monitor running a 1080Ti and I still pre-ordered Scorpio edition the second it was available :pac:

Yes, the game subscription services are a game changer. €25 a year for basically every EA game that they've released on the Xbox One. Sure, you get them about 8 months after release, but it's incredible value. You also get a ten hour trial for every new game in advance (which is how Mass Effect Andromeda got killed).

Then there's the Game Pass, €10 a month for access to 100+ games.

CEX Databreach - 2 Million customer details.

Its saying credit card data from 2009 - most will have expired.

"Data of up to two million customers has been stolen from games store Cex.

The store, which specialises in buying and reselling old games and electronic equipment suffered a large data breach at the hands of hackers.

Stolen in the breach is believed to be customers' names, addresses, telephone numbers, and old credit card information.

Also stolen were email addresses and passwords, so customers who have used their site are recommended to change their passwords across all of their accounts if they match similarly to the one used on Cex' website.
Cex operates 38 stores, all across Ireland, with over 300 stores in the UK, and even more around the world.

According to Cex, some old encrypted credit card information has been stolen, but due to the fact that Cex stopped storing credit card information in 2009, most of these cards should be expired.

According to a statement released by Cex, the information stolen appears to relate solely to the online store, with in-store data not appearing to be compromised.

Customers who have used webuy.com are advised to change their account passwords immediately, and then to change similar passwords across their accounts."

Weirdly I've had my xbox switching itself on twice in the last couple of months. Plot twist, it's not in instant on mode.

Mine too. Good thing I packed away the Kinect or I'd be paranoid about it.

Absolutely. Throw in backwards compatibility for 360 and original xbox games. It's all about the ecosystem. Apparently, its what the future console war will all be about and Microsoft are light years ahead.
