Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As long as the car uses a 12v battery (I assume that's what the moped uses too). Just make sure the voltage matches.

also afaik, its not recommended to have the car engine running when jump starting a smaller battery

Very true. A car alternator uses a high current that will destroy a bike battery which uses a smaller current to charge. No point in having a car running for this whatsoever.

Yep she started first time with a jump off the car. Sound for that.

I once had to start the car to jump the bike - it would barely turn over otherwise.

But this was a 1 litre bike and a 1 litre car :pac:

Don't most mopeds still have backup kick starters? You can't push start them.

    Scrap the cap!

This moped is fuel injected so no kickstart.
