Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"How a pair of reading glasses can be produced for €1.99, I do not know."

I suggest you ask your local optician about outrageous profit margins, caller.

Arrogant git. I do most of my shopping in Lidl and Aldi, and then get the remaining bits in Supervalu.

Saving us a fortune having Aldi and Lidl.

    He doesn't care about Stena.

It's the Germans he's after Joe.

In fairness, I like the way he goes on the attack with Joe.

Wonder is this guy working for Super Valu? Aldi and Lidl are providing a need for lots of families in Ireland - he should be ringing the Planning Department of Wexford County Council not Joe. Joe has researcher busily looking up what Aldi and Lidl are

    :p

no offence to anyone from Wexford i love the place, but its not a very affluent town thats why there is 3 Aldi's

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,591 ✭✭✭baldbear

I was listening in the car.........a blatant attempt to rubbish a competitor business. Have Aldi been given the right to reply?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,988 ✭✭✭constitutionus

bet this lad wasnt crying when supervalu shut the corner stores !

    :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,195 ✭✭✭bottlebrush

Supervalu just needs to drop their prices and get in loads of gadgets - then they can compete

  • Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators, Regional North East Moderators Posts: 10,871 Mod ✭✭✭✭PauloMN

Time for other supermarkets to up their game then. No point standing on the sidelines whinging.

Wexford caller is one obnoxious git.

And his efforts to rub up to joe with his "My three twins were born a week before your three twins' was pathetic.

    Ring up to tell a story;

Go ahead caller, tell your story.

Ah no, don't even go there.

An excellent exchange of cutting edge current affairs discussion radio.

    I was thinking that.

On that logic I could say that myself and Bin Laden go way back. I remember him when he was head of Al-Quaida and my son was born within a few weeks of his son.

Typical mealy-mouthed begrudgery. There should be some sort of driver ethics clause where they can't go moaning on the public airwaves about the foibles of the people that paid his wages.

Why is Joe giving him airtime to air his petty, small-time views?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,723 ✭✭✭An Claidheamh
