Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I heard that the Hotels are starting to refuse Council tenants as they're too much trouble. Wonder what plan Z is for the Council in that case.

You can earn €25k - €35k and qualify for social housing.
If you are in a low wage profession, how can you expect to get a mortgage?

Maybe you lower your expectations of what you get to choose from?

A working man complaining about his LL selling his own property.

Get over it ya wuss, start looking for another place to live.

If you don't like LLs selling your place, save a deposit and get yourself a mortgage like the rest of us

Dave started a new job and would not get a mortgage without min 6 months in a permanent role. so for 5 months he his in Limbo..

No he's not, he just gets somewhere else to rent. Plenty of property out there. Don't believe the stuff you hear on this show that there's nothing available.

By saving for a very long time like I'm doing :(

Seriously is €35k low enough for social housing?

Does Joe never allow the 2 sides of the argument on?

This whole show needs some balance.

Entitlement......comes from the top and permeates down to the lumpen proletariat.

Bertie got a free house in Drumcondra via a digout.

The FÁS fella was entitled to free (paid for by the taxpayer) trips abroad.

Harney and her expensive hairdos while being serenaded on a grand piano.

    Yer wan over the Rehab.

The local bishop lives in a Palace.

Failure of a Financial Regulator is fine, here's your pension and lump sum old chap.

Justice Minister breaks the law, but it's not a crime silly.

Now excuse me until I squeeze through the window of me squat. :)

The average national wage is around €36k so that would mean roughly half the country would possibly be eligible.

For those who don't know Dublin, Synge Street is 4 miles south of Clontarf and 3 miles east of Ballyfermot.

Wexford Street is where Bang Bang used to regale passers by with his unique salt of the earth wit.

Camden Street is where RAW was filmed.
