Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This story reminds me of my grandmother - she was married but after the birth of her 7th child she had post natal depression and was sent to a mental institution where she remained for 26 years and died there. She was never brought ome again. My father and his siblings never ever spoke of her, such was the shame 'she brought on the family'. Shocking stuff altogether.

'She died in the mental home'. God, I so remember that sentence and the sense
of condemnation in the voice of the speaker. Unfortunately, some of that stigma
    still survives.

Wonder will Joe have a show dedicated to Rik Mayall, and have every Tom, Dick and Harry ring in about the time they saw him on holiday in Carraroe? Or their Top 10 moments from Bottom?!

Can't imagine Joe the culture vulture appreciating Bottom as it's likely too low brow for him - and yet he loves Mrs. Browinz Boyiz.....there's no accounting for taste.

I literally cannot wait for this..I had been planning on going to the Electric Picnic this year, but I've now sold my tickets for that, and am hoping to be able to get seats for the wonderful June Rogers instead. Hopefully they haven't sold out already!

+1 and there will never be justice for the ones who died or the ones who live on, the perpetrators are almost all gone and the their actions have been overed up and well hidden down the years..

I actually found that very moving. Unfortunately his life story is so typical of those destroyed by the Catholic Church through pure ignorance
