Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Regarding the apparent "Funny Friday".

Did anyone see Brush Shiels on Second Captains last night.

    Never seen him before.

    No, what happened?

At least things happen in Clondalkin for good or bad. The place has a bit of character.

Lucan on the other hand is just a boring collection of housing estates seperated from each other by mini roundabouts.

In fairness Lucan village is nice

They showed footage of an 80's RTÉ sports programme where RTÉ "personalities" took on "celebrities" in sporting events at UCD I believe.

He was one of the celebrities.

    Brilliant stuff.
When asked what it would do with any lions it procured, Paddy Power somewhat vaguely answered that they would form "the centrepiece of our football World Cup campaign – ‘putting the roar back into the Three Lions’," but refused to disclose any further details.
Could always let them roam free along Grafton St.

The studio was uprooted by a gang of Rogue Traders, taken out into Dublin Bay and set loose to sink or swim, according to its fate. The occupants carried on, blissfully unaware that their destiny rested on a single phone call (which might, or might not, be recorded by the Guards), all the time cracking dreadful jokes, pitiful gags and miserable anecdotes, while the clock ticked remorselessly on past 3pm.
