Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Well said caller.

Is it really beyond Duffy to say to callers who happen to have a bad line "I'm sorry XXX, I'll have to stop this call and we'll try to get a better line", rather than barking indistinctly over whatever they're saying and just cutting them off.

He really has no manners at all, has he?

On another note, can anyone understand anything anyone is saying today?

It doesn't matter if it's students or adults or the general populace, at some point or other, maybe when the revenue from alcohol sales into government coffers decreases maybe, just MAYBE we might have a proper debate about the appalling relationship we have with alcohol in this country.

Joe will alienate 99% of Liveline callers if he is only going to speak to people who were actually at something they wish to give out about on the programme.

Punchestown is coming up soon. The Friday is a warzone! Lots of 16-20 year olds dressed up in suits falling around the place legless by 3pm. It's common enough at the big festivals. I used to go to Punchestown on Friday - I go midweek now instead to avoid the carnage!

    Because they're shoite ?

When the drug taking and attacks happened around the time of the Swedish House Mafia gig, people blamed the act for the scumbags who started the trouble.

I even remember FG minister Brian Hayes doing that.

Most believed it was the lack of police who were at fault.

Apparently there were young wans drinking at Tine Tempah concert, surely that's their parents fault?

    But they're probably ***** aswell :).
