Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It must be rubbish having that, though. I'd hate to be as sensitive to nut dust in the air. I mean, I can't stand Country music but I can always boot the guitarist in the nuts... err... I mean, move away.

I was told there would be no peanuts on the plane Joe, and when I was boarding, there was Mr Peanut sitting up the back of the plane..

I was on a flight from the Canaries a few years ago and just after take off there was an announcement that due to a passenger having an allergy, no peanuts would be served during the flight.

We'll in fairness if it's posing a threat to somebody's health or whatever, surely people can go a few hours without nuts (excuse that!!)

The French didn't have to do much rebuilding after the Second World War, considering they surrendered after about half an hour.

I had €378k in my mind but I saw this :

Liveline presenter Joe Duffy was paid €378,000 in 2011 which has dropped by a fifth to €300,000. (from here)

Still incredible money for hassling grieving relatives for an hour a day.

If ever a man was so unsuited to his job it has to be Joe. He has no patience with callers and clearly has his own agendas which he pushes regardless of anyone else's views.
