Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is your man's opinion going to be challenged by anyone?

He has had long enough to make his excuses for the inexcusable.

the best thing about the peace process was that we don't have to listen to that accent on the radio and the tv every day of the week

Let me guess you were saying the same back when FF were in power. You should just support Sinn Fein. Say no to everything & maybe it will all be ok. Sweep the debt under the carpet.

That was my thought, but it is amazing that he forgives his mother's murderers.

    Wasn't expecting that.

Gerry Adams has been a parliamentarian since 1983. Listening to Joe, you'd think he only entered politics in 2011

Bertie Ahern calls himself a peacemaker.

Does that mean we all have to lick his arse too.

Was better in the 80s when they were banned from talking on TV and an actor would be used for their voices

That doesn't give him the right to decree that Jean McConville's family are not entitled to justice.

Bit of a stretch to call him a parliamentarian when he never went near the House of Commons.

And he lost in 1992, got back in 1997.

I agree, and I thought that's what he was on for. But still wasn't expecting he would feel that way.

Also, the media ignore the loyalist murders.

The actor that did Gerry Adams was Stephen Rea, the actor - from the North.:)

    Absolutely stupid era in RTÉ.

Yes I certainly was, why does every discussion turn partisan, I have never voted FF or FG in my life, you can sweep the debt under your carpet if you wishm but it's not my debt, your kind wants working people to pay for the debt of bankers mistakes, regulators and so on, draw big fat pensions, along with Bertie the chancer, you think if working people just tow the line and everything will be ok, well your mistaken.

this is really starting to wind me up.

ive heard much MUCH worse at company AGMS. BOI had one recently and i dont see joe going all precious about how richie bouchers got bullied.

this is robust discourse. if ya cant handle the heat get out of the kitchen.

FFS duffy himself has been moaning about how the public has taken everything put upon them without getting angry and now its bubbling over in certain areas he goes off on a victimisation crusade.

Listening to the clip it doesn't sound much at all. Nothing compared to the robust and nasty stuff that used to be found on the hustings. Any candidate that can't cope with that and expects politeness and quiet discourse really shoudn't be in the running.
