Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A week on from Arsenal's weak submission at Stamford Bridge, they face the other team to have hit them for six this season.
Arsene Wenger admits that this is the Gunners' last chance to stay in the title race, but it's just as much about restoring pride and regaining the trust of a growing number of fans who are taking to the airwaves and the internet to call time on his 17-and-a-half years in charge.
The backlash from last Saturday and Wednesday's throwing away of a win against Swansea has been significant, with Wenger well aware and philosophical of the change in mood: "We live in a period where every game is a definite judgement forever, but life is movement and life is change".
Said with a French lilt, it could be a Descartes quotation.
@Arsenal: #Arsenal team to play Man City: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Rosicky, Flamini, Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud
@MCFC: TEAM NEWS: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany (C), Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Toure, Navas, Silva, Nasri, Dzeko #arsenalvcity #mcfc

I feel a silly penalty will set the tone for this match.

City by a few goals. Hopefully start the game in the same manner as we did at Old Trafford.

No confusion here fellow member of the worst fans in sports history. Preference would be an Arsenal hammering today and Everton to take points off City when they meet. But if Arsenal decide not to roll over I won't complain.

    A draw would be dandy.

Why is every thread turning into a liverpool discussion thread?

As a Liverpool fan, I imagine it is due to both a high interest in games involving direct rivals and a distinct satisfaction in the troubles of less direct rivals.

Looking for a decent performance, for the team to show some pride. If we do that and lose I'll be able to handle it. If we bend over and spread them again it'll be awful. If we lose it puts city properly in the driving seat for the title, and I've decided that since an arsenal title is highly unlikely, then I'd prefer a city one.

Should be a cracker both to score but only if Arsenal actually get on their bike.

    1-2 or 2-2

If Arsenal win is it fair to say "**** just got real" ???

especially if spurs do us a favor tomorrow.

Not too worried about a loss if I see a bit of effort from the team. Just don't think my heart can take another drubbing.

The Gunners can sniff a chance too after that Chelsea result.

C'mon Arsenal, get something from this match!

Going to be a beating for Arsenal.

3-1 City with Arsenal never looking anything more than average.

If Flamini gets a yellow, he's out for the next two games.

    That's Flamster out so :pac:

Never a penalty to be fair, although he would've had to lose a leg before one would be given by this ref anyways.
