Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rosicky looks Arsenal's best way back, just don't really look like scoring. Crowd is far too quite.

At least we're putting in an effort. City just seem far more dangerous.

Is it just me that hasn't been at all impressed with Kompany this season? I see him appear in numerous team of the year threads, but whenever I've seen him he's looked off the pace and clumsy a lot.

Just as I type that he's caught well out of position on an Arsenal break after being booked a couple of minutes earlier.

Silly foul by Yaya. Kompany had it covered.

How is it offside when he never touched the ball?

is it just me or does Lucas Podolski really remind you of Dirk Kuyt? hard working & reliable, but sloppy as all hell

It's going to be so hard for Arsenal to throw a few more players into an attack, when City can defend they way they do and tear back on the counter so fast.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,117 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

City are reallistically taking it easy but it's hard to see how this team has gone over 9 hours without conceding. They look good in midfield and even in attack considering who they are missing, but in defence they look relatively ordinary.

It's giving me hope to be honest.

City could be down to 10 in the second half with more of those tackles. That would open the game up lovely.

Is there another Man city v Arsenal match on??

    Zero cutting edge from Arsenal.

Plenty of empty seats too. Its a bit of a joke charging for the Cat A games when we play so poorly against them.
Fans are pretty much paying to see Arsenal hoping to get a draw.

Kuyt worked a lot harder than Podolski does in fairness. Actually don't think Podolski was giving much help to Gibbs at all for the first 25 minutes.

Id do exactly as Neville said. Take off Giroud and bring on Oxo with Podolski going up front. Maybe not half time but not long after. We'll never score with the attack we have on the pitch atm

First up I said relatively ordinary.

Secondly, this is probably one of Arsenal's bluntest attacking performances, and we could've scored a couple of times. I would've imagined this City team would've been watertight at the back in a game like this.

To put it another way, I didn't hold much hope for a result before the game, but after seeing the first half, I'm thinking we might possibly get a point.

Really can't see City losing it if they win today.

What is it. Liverpool would need to beat City, Chelsea and win the rest of their games and City would still need to drop points elsewhere.

Chelsea are defo gone if Coty win this.

Id take Podolski off too and bring on Gnabry id play Ox up front his pace will cause them more problems than Giroud or Podolski ever would.

Yes and the only place I could see City dropping points apart from at Liverpool is when they go to Everton. Going for 6 clean sheets in a row as well today so they have tightened up at the back at the right time.
