alaskan malamute coat colors

    have a black and white mal

    But his coat seems to be getting a line down his back, and it feels hard anyone know what would be wrong?

    He 17 weeks old the line seems to be a darker black

    By hard do you mean the texture is different? Perhaps he is getting his adult coat?

    I believe it is pretty normal for the coat of puppies to get darker with age.

    Yes the texture is different and you can see it coming in a line on his back.

    You could be right maybe it's the adult coat coming through

    Don't think it's his adult coat coming in

    It's getting worse it looks very dry and feels very hard to brush also has got bigger

    Anyone know what it could be
