My partner and I are both BOI customers. We want to create a joint account for bills/joint savings for holidays etc. What do we need to do and can this be done from home?

To open a joint account, both parties to the account will need to make an appointment with the branch of their choice. You can phone ahead and a Customer Advisor can arrange an appointment at a time and day that suits you and your partner.

The Customer Advisor will ask each party to the account to bring along photo identification, either passport or driving licence and a recent utility bill each within the last 3 months.
