    Anybody know where can get Colestrol checked cheaply ? Thanks

    Dont know about cheaply, but would suggest that some of the mobile units or "instant" results places tend to or might give a less than accurate or reliable reading.

    Ideally you should fast overnight and have proper blood samples taken before breakfast in mornig by a doctor/ clinic and analysed by a laboratory.

    I believe some doctors do a battery of tests (including PSA for Prostate) for about €65/ 70 in total. PSA can be very important if on "wrong" side of middle age.

    If cholesterol readings are high do a lot of research on statins, first line of treatment,-- very debatable course in some circumstances.
