    Hi all,

We are looking to raise much needed funds for Dylan, a 4 year old boy who is currently unable to walk due to his cerebral palsy. Dylan and his family wish to raise €60,000 in order to send Dylan for an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy in America which will hopefully enable him to walk.

The Waterford Dodgeball Club are running a charity dodgeball tournament on the 3rd of May in aid of Operation Dylan.

What we are looking for is teams (mixed) of male and female players to take part in this tournament. Players do not need any experience in Dodgeball as the club will run a few training nights in the run up to the tournament which new players can come along to free of charge.

The cost of entry is €10 per person or just €7.50 per person if they attend and play in fancy dress! (Players in fancy dress may still pay the €10 if the wish). The tournament will take place on Saturday 3rd May, Community Hall, Kilmacow.

If you would like to take part, enter a team or if you require any further information, then please do not hesitate to contact me.

Good idea for an event. How many people are required for a team?

While only 6 players can participate in each game, you are allowed up to 10 players in the squad.

Also, if you are interested in playing but don't have a team, also get in touch with Derek and he will make sure everyone is looked after.

If you would like to have a look at dodgeball or even take part, and you are free tonight, we all get together in De La Salle College in Newtown for a few games from 7-8.30pm. It'll be free for newcomers so you have nothing to lose really.
