Terminating Lease Dilemma

    Hi, I signed a 6 month fixed term lease on an apartment and due to unforeseen personal circumstances i must move out after only stayin 3 months. My question is, do i have any chance of getting my deposit back or is it long gone?

    If you can get someone to take over the lease you'll get it all back. Even if you cant then the deposit can only be used to cover the loss of rent until the tenancy is filled.

    Plus any vouched expenses the landlord has in finding a new tenant.
