Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I understand butyl tubes would be fine to expand and fill, but how about latex?

Why not just buy 25-28? They're not in stock as much as 23's

did you find 25 latex tubes or did the 23's work out okay?

23s are fine, I use a 20mm latex for my front 23mm tyre(on a 23mm rim) its lighter and improves rolling resistance at the expense of slightly worse puncture resistance

It obviously works for some people but I wouldn't do it personally. From what I understand, latex tubes don't have as much "give" as butyl so inflating them beyond their stated diameter may increase the risk of them failing - anecdotally, people have been inflating butyl tubes beyond their recommended limit for donkey's years with no obvious problems, but I haven't seen even such anecdotal evidence for doing the same with latex.

25mm tubes are available from www.swimcyclerun.com for a very good price, although they don't always have them in stock as you may have already discovered. In the past I've found they get them back in stock relatively quickly, but that's probably luck of the draw.
