Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Im looking to pick up a pair of over-ears for around the 100 mark or less. They are only for home use and will be connected to a laptop about 99% of the time.

I dont really care how they look, my main focus is on sound and sound alone. ok, and maybe some comfort.

I mostly listen to rock, ambient and pink floyd type stuff. I want to be dazzled when listening to dark side of the moon! :D

    Any obvious winner??

The audio technica ath-m50 would around that price, and could drop a little more thanks to a newer version (ath-m50x) having been released.

This was posted in BA months ago. Logitech ultimate ears reduced from 200e to around 100e

I got them for Christmas, love them and I use then every day. The original BA thread has links to reviews. They're 4.5 out of 5 on head-fi and 4 stars on Engadget.

Maybe not perfect for around the house though.
