Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was a good save, keeper got a touch on it.

Another to add to the Shinji potential assist collection...

See what happens when we don't try and cross

That free kick by Mata was almost identical to the one in Stamford Bridge 2 years ago that De Gea saved in injury time

The ball has spent a huge time out of play this half, no urgency from either team.

De Jong and Gosling are poison.

Outside of two movements, been a horrid game so far.

    +1

Dreary game thus far. Fellani is a terrible footballer, and adds nothing to the team.

Kagawa and Mata linking up well. Hope they can bring Chico into it more in the second half.

Who would have thought that a player who didnt score for 12 months would have continued in that form, or that a player who has not even had a good half since joining 2 years ago would also be poor today? Give pards a break FFS!

76% pass completion from both sides in the first half... 1/4 missed the target, astonishing

Newcastle fans in the crowd are weird for booing. It was absolutely a free for the goal and Newcastle's high pressing has seen them committing niggly fouls all game.

As for Fellaini, he is mental.

Booing the 11 wasters in black and white after another serving of half baked dross

I was wondering what it was about. Keeper made a great save for that Hernandez chance.

May have been a bit of that too, TBF it took a couple of reviews to see exactly what happened, did look like a good tackle on first viewing...

To the surprise of nobody. Both sides play some of the ugliest football in the league. Turgid stuff out there

It would get a lot busier if your lot took the lead, believe me...

United will score a couple more yet, the same pattern developing as in pretty much every game in the last 3 months

I really hope Hernandez finishes the game with a goal.

2 goals for Newcastle at home now in 7 and a half games in the Premier League.

LOL, that is a pretty big if given our recent form :)

I'd like to demonstrate the size of the aforementioned if, but there is no font big enough

2 goals for Newcastle at home now in 7 and a half games.

10 blanks in 14 games home and away too

19 goals at home all season and we scored 5 against 9 man stoke

This is done and dusted, matter of how many for united. At least a hammering would allow me some pleasure when I watch the smarmy "manager" squirm

Really don't understand why Hernandez doesn't get more game time.

While he has had a few bad games, he almost always looks a threat.

Come on Pardiniho, amaze us all with an amazing tactical switch, or a game changing substitution!

Who do you drop? RVP or Rooney?

Does he look a threat against decent sides though? Gary Doherty would worry our defense at the moment

Welbeck. He has double the game till Hernadez has had this season.

    So HBA gets another "chance"

30 mins in a game where we are losing 2:0 and being outplayed

The 2 goals Newcastle have got as well were both stoppage time goals and led to two 1-0 victories.

Very poor home record for Newcastle so far this year.
