    Hi guys,

just joined the gym at home.

Have played sport all my life and still do..

Used in the gym in the past but never fully understood what I was at.

Trying to get some basic understanding of how to work out, train etc is mind blogging on the net.

If anyone here could advise me on some basics or show me where I should be looking let me know.

    thanks.

    What are your goals?
Decide that, then find a program to suit.

Personally if you're a real beginner I would choose starting strength, strong lifts, or ice cream fitness

Goal is to strengthen my core as my balance is quite poor.

Secondly improve my upper body strength mainly arms and chest.

    any advice greatly welcome
