Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have given my reasons on the first goal he was entitled to challange. But that was a bad decision full stop. There was no debate involved he clearly won the ball.

One decision is debatable but the other is not? Good logic there!

Prob Suarezs worst performance of the season. A win here if we can hold on would be a superb result.

Liverpool need a 3rd soon or it'll get more nervy as it goes on.

    Sturridge has been beyond awful

Not when the replay clearly shows the keeper winning the ball first, there is no debate.

You'd back him to perform against City and Chelsea though. He's scored against both of them since his move to Liverpool.

Thing about the Flanagan pen is after the keeper gets a touch he grabs onto Flanagan's leg after. It's soft because I don't think Flanagan gets to the ball but he made it easy for this clown of a ref to make a decision.

Always going to be the case... Chelsea/city games were always going to be pivotal. I shall be watching them behind the couch.

Ref has been a disaster for both teams

    COME ON THE POOL

  • I can see a 4-1 win now @ 11/1 for Liverpool

Good that a slap to the keepers head allows for wriggle room though, eh?

Fair play to Gerrard - it's a nervy performance from Liverpool but he took the penos really well.

It was 50/50 and Flanagan got there 1st, those are free kicks else where on the pitch

    Sturridge never looked like scoring.

    West Ham equaliser inevitable.

take a touch sturridge. has been ok on the ball but the finishing has been very poor. same with Suarez

Another dodgy ref decision with linesman beside it not even waving his flag

I think the ref has another peno in him yet. If he's getting sacked he'll go out in style. I feel it in my waters 2-2 in injury time

Ref seriously distrusts linos now, ref is miles away and give a free that the lino did not give right in front of him. Seems like a bit of damage to their trust relationship, counselling may help them.

I have replayed it 3 times on skyplus box, keeper touched the ball first.
Youtube won't lie I will wait for the inevitable upload.

when you know the ref will overrule you whats the point anyway?

There's too much of a danger with those 50/50s to go against the keeper. At the very least they should remove the mandatory booking and red card they tend to dole out for them (although Adrián got his for dissent).

Flannagan didn't do anything wrong. He was still playing on.

The biggest crime was Sturridge again making an absolute balls of the shot after. It's like someone snuck some flubber onto the outside of his left foot before the game.

I think that shot a second ago was the only even halfway decent attempt he's had all day.
