Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well...at least Lukaku brought me in some points. I'd be in serious trouble otherwise! Now it's just a bit of trouble instead. :/

After the Everton match was expecting a lot more this afternoon.

Up to 48 with Mannone to play.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,675 ✭✭✭HighClass

Will be on 53 if Gerrard get his 3 BPs, delighted with that after only having 19 this morning. Mannone tomorrow, clean sheet and save bonus would be lovely :)

    Bitter

No, just commenting on something I noticed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,816 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Seriously though, these penalty stats are farcical:
    Liverpool 12
    Man City 8
    Chelsea 7
    ... Arsenal 3
4 times as much over Arsenal and 4 more over City in second seems ludicrious to me!
    Bitter

it's not really bitter, last time I had a look at them Cardiff haven't had 1 peno and some of the games they defo should have.

Team top of the league has 12,
Team practically bottom of the table 0

Liverpool have gotten at least 2 maybe 3 peno's they shouldn't have - how many pointes has that won them?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,268 ✭✭✭IsMiseMyself

On 51 with Mannone left. Sigh.

  • Registered Users Posts: 475 ✭✭Rosco79

62 all out. Captain fails but Gerrard ploughs in, no card in the City game now and he will be free to knock in the 8 or so penos they get in the last few games!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,638 ✭✭✭Iago

If Lukaku & Gerrard hold their BPS positions, I'll end on 83(-4) for the week..that'll do pig, that'll do!

  • Registered Users Posts: 756 ✭✭✭Who_8_Paul?

    1. I transferred Gerrard out this week. For Hazard.

    2. Puncheon is sitting on my bench with 16 points.

    3. Without number 1 & 2, I'd have caught 1st place in my main ML.

    4. I'm going to break a random object now.

he could have missed them all for all you know.... imagine if Skrtel took them, defender could have 18 goals....

    Imagine...

I think the point was that most of the premier leagues top scorers over the years have gotten there whilst being on penos.

70 plus whatever lukaku will get, happy but my transfer of Gerrard to Mata wasnt the masterstroke i thought it was, could have saved it.

    Ah well,on we go....

Any idea of average points lads and ladies - 50+?

71 after bp for gerrard. Will be in top 20k easily overall

    Gerrard!!!!!!!!

    :-D :-D :-D

    Sold him yesterday!!!!!

    :-(

Still think 9m+ is too much to spend to be waiting for penalties in the normal scheme of things, they just get so many of the bloody things. Remember last year Bale couldn't win a penno to save his life, spurs went the whole year without one

I really dont want to know, unless its a very unlikely under 40.

60 points happy enough with that and in good shape for next week with 8 dgw players.

It'll definitely be under 40, overall average will anyway.

83 (no hits) once Gerrard and flanagan bps are added. Eriksen to play tomorrow.

Annoyed I didnt captain mata which I had considered as its all about differentials for me now

    You reckon?

I'm hoping Mannone has one of those super performances where he gets 10 points and I can finish on 61. Much more respectable than 51.

I know theres an actual average, ie the one on the site, and an unofficial average, ie, the one amongst active players, but will be quite surprised to see the actual one under 40.

If it is I will be delighted with Mannone still to play tomorrow. Have put alot of effort to get back into the top 400k, and will be disapointed if outside it tomorrow night (currently am based on the mid GW scores).

56 plus bps to come. Mannone left to play.

68, pretty happy about that. Still annoyed i forgot to switch Nasri in for mutch as I thought i hit confirm on that one.

61 once the BP's are added for Lukaku. Annoying that Skrtel lost his. No one to play tomorrow but hoping my planning for the DGW will get me back up towards the top 1k.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

70 with mannone left to play.

Would have scored more if I didnt make any transfers!

BPs added, nervously awaiting the Average.

Why? I don't understand the fascination with the average which is skewed anyway due to inactive players. The only concern for me would be the average for those around me in my private leagues. The overall averages are of little consideration in reality

77 for the week, thanks to my Demel masterstroke.

    Delighted with that.

    56, another mediocre gameweek.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

At my current position, anything over the overall average is good.

I think I'm just gonna start pretending that the season ended six weeks ago when I was 9000th.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,816 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Should end up on 58 not bad considering everything, Gerrard saved me obv.

From being 25 ahead of a rival 2 GWs ago I'm now 11 behind

    Average is 37!!

Yeah yeah I know this is the game average and the actual average amoungt active players is probably 50 or 60, but I am delighted at that with still Mannone to play.

It might not help me much in my private leagues, but should hopefully move up slightly in the worldwide league where I am still hoping for a respectful finish.

Yeah it changed up to 106 and then up to 119 since, don't know why....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,962 ✭✭✭Hogey007

71 all out, happy with that, my 3 defenders kept cs and although I had distin on the bench I was always going to play 3 4 3 so don't mind that, still would have preferred hazard not to have been involved as it would have brought distin in but I only lost out on 5 points, I know others lost out on more.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,685 ✭✭✭sheroman01

82, delighted! Collins not playing was very helpful, meant Chester comes in for 6 pts....Chester has been some value for money!

Also, I was fully convinced that you lose points for conceding a penalty??

Hoping my Dzeko-Yaya-Silva axis can do damage

57 with Johnson to play. Alright so will hope to move back inside top 100k again

Sold Gerrard, Demel on the bench as first sub. Sums up my season. Roll on next year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,579 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Gameweek rank of 7.2k. If eriksen can do something tomorrow could get inside the top 5k

So far up on last week to my second highest rank (around 380k) since GW9/10. Highest rank since GW9/10 was two weeks ago, 340k. Hopefully a cleanie and save pts from Mannone tomorrow night will move me up a bit further, and around that again.

Lets also hope that Sunderland players in use tomorrow night is lower than the actual ownership displayed on total.
