Will be a toy for weekend cruising/car meets and to be generally babied.

Leaning towards a gen 2 camaro but looking for some left field suggestions.

Does it have to be American? And does it have to sporty? You could have a Rover P5B or a Bentley.

First thing that would come to mind if I were in your position for a sporty car would be an MG RV8, and failing to get one of those an MGB V8.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

It would be expected of me to suggest a Porsche 928. Don't go for the early 4.5 though, get an S or an S2 :)

After more of a pre 1980 pony car tbh like a 70's camaro (71 shape is out of my budget) or a late 70's TA perhaps.

Daily will be a 5 series with 1k annual tax so car must be on vintage tax or its a non runner. Sunny day car etc

    I]Insert inevitable Merc SL 107 recommendation[/I :p

Though they are lovely cars. I know nothing of yank tanks to recommend other than they sound awesome.

Yank tanks be the business, but I also have a goo on me for a Triumph Stag.
