Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Indeed - eMotorcycle is gone.
    Ivors is still there.
Sean Griffin is still going, in Clarenbridge, for repairs/service. V. sound.

But, for the first time in my living memory...and that's a long one....Galway has no motorcycle dealer of any kind, outside of Ivors. They've all gone to the wall.

Does Sean work on all sorts of bikes, new and old or does he specialise on certain makes. Is he expensive and will he stamp your book?

Works on anything. I don't find him expensive tbh.

Not sure about the stamping, but he gives a proper detailed invoice which I use as my 'history' anyway. A stamp in a book is exactly that- a stamp - and is best backed up with proper paperwork.

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Howdy all, I just posted an enquiry yesterday about bike service/repairs in and around Limerick; hope the mods won't mind if I link to it here? I'm not getting too many views on the Limerick forum...

Really sounds bloke . Myself and the missus popped in there a couple of weeks back and had a good laugh with him.

I had my first experience with Joe Duffy's at the weekend. Can't fault them so far ;)

Extreme 45 is now gone, shut down for good.

The remaining stock is now over in D15 motorcycles, which is supposedly run by the same chap who used to run Extreme 45.

    RIP Martin.

It would be handy to have an updated list on Google maps. I found a map a while ago but it was totally outdated and was missing some well known places
