Multimedia in CIT - laptop query

    I have read that I should get a pretty good laptop for this course but I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it. Will I get away with not having one for first year or should I put my head down now and start saving?

    You'll be able to survive without one, you would probably be ok just using the computer labs till 2nd year.
