If this needs to be moved to the LED sticky, fair enough

Has anybody come across, bought or can recommend a surface mounted LED ceiling light.

One of our bedrooms runs the depth of the house so quite a long room, it only has a small dormer style window at one end so the room can be dark especially in winter. It currently only has one bulb in the centre of the room

Looking for a straight forward way to economically brighten the room, don't really want to go the recessed route if I can avoid it or if anyone has any other advice

they have sticky back and stick straight to surfaces. if you want to get the various colours your better off getting one that's behind a diffuser so you wont see the raw colours, or put then along the top of a wardrope.

Thanks, I was thinking of something more conventional light fitting looking though if they are available.

if the LED strip isn't your cup of tea, you could get some track lighting and use GU10 or MR16 LEDs.

There are some nice looking ones out there.
