Does anyone know somewhere in Dublin I am likely to be able to walk in and buy a greeting card display? I know of McGregor plastics over by Powerscourt but is there anywhere else in the city that does that sort of thing?

Have you tried any liquidators or liquidators' sales? Sometimes the card companies (who often own the stands) don't bother to exercise their retention of title.

Yeh I have been keeping an eye on that for a while but they don't seem to pop up often! There seem to be loads of them in the US for round $150 but all the places here are looking €350+ for a basic one!

Get one free off your card supplier, or at least a significant contribution towards one, either in cash or in free stock

Tried that option but our main card supplier does fairly specialist carousels as their cards are non-standard sized so would only fit their cards and we're looking for something that is a little bit more flexible in terms of what it can hold and our other suppliers are all small Irish designers so don't supply things like that. Found a guy in the UK on ebay who has a nice collapsible one that works out around €200 so that looks like it will fit the bill would be nice to use an Irish company but doesn't seem to be an option.

Yeh kept on eye on there and adverts but nothing suitable has cropped up! We've picked up some greats bits of furniture from places like that very handy for saving a bit!

Have you tried shopinabox.ie , they are owned/managed by johnston shopfiters .Ive also used displaycentre.ie in Rathcoole. Both are one of the larger manufacturers of shop fittings so might have something suitable but not sure if they would fit in the less than 350 budget

Johnson and displaycentre dont manufacture the fittings they import them in from abroad and sell them to shop owners etc.

Supermarkets often dump a spinning one after Christmas and Easter. Such a waste.
