Where to hold a class reunion

My friends and I are organising a year reunion, we are looking to do something a bit different, if anyone has done anything like this and could give us ideas of possible venues and costs involved, I would really appreciate it. Also has anyone had an type of alternative entertainment, something different to a DJ. Thanks
