And just after I say that TCU get the offensive machine rolling again. 21-0 now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,100 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Wow, Ole Miss interception and then their offense throws a pick six. 28-0 now, embarrassing for them now.

Awful from Wallace on the pick 6. It was always going to be intentional grounding and a safety, but to throw it that close to a TCU player was a real poor decision.

    Nice INT all the same.

    Total annihilation.

If anyone wants to bet in play on the Boise state match some bookies are wildly priced in comparison to each other. At the minute you can get Boise -7.5 on bet365 at 11/10 and on PP you can get Arizona +14.5 @ 10/11. Looks a pretty good double shout to me

Watched the Boise win earlier which was two different halfs with 48 in the first and 20 in the second.

Miss State struggling to stay with Georgia Tech here. Yellow Jackets are impressive on offense and their DL has done very well to this point although it has to be said that there has been a lot of drops by the Bulldogs receivers.

Hasn't been a great bowl series for the SEC so far...

Buckeyes have probably noticed this too!

Really excited for the playoffs tonight. How do we all see them going? Anyone predicting a shock or possibly two?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

Great throw by Nick Marshall for an Auburn touchdown to put them 24 - 21 up on Wisconsin in the Outback bowl.

Edit, Melvin Gordon who already has 230 yards rushing for the Badgers in this game rolls in for another TD.

    28 - 24

Auburn scores on the next possession to go ahead 31 - 28. Wisconsin now have just under 3 minutes to score again.

Big 4 and 4 here for the Badgers for the game. Looks like they're going for it.

the badgers kicker is in great shape

Wisconsin's portly Brazilian kicker ties it up and we have overtime.

Imagine how good Wisconsin would be if Stave was even average.

Auburn miss their FG in the second possession of OT. Another bowl loss for the SEC!

Spartans staging a bit of a comeback in the Cotton bowl. Successful onside kick has given them back the ball, down by 13, with 11 minutes left.

Jesus what was Conor Cook doing there - shovel pass to a Baylor defender!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

TD Michigan State. Now a 6 point game with 5 mins left.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

Wow, Spartans block the FG and run the ball down to the Baylor 45. 1 minute win the game!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

1st and goal with 30sec left!

Amazing game worthy of this finish.

    Spartans score!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

TD Spartans! And the PAT will surely win this with 17s left.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,025 ✭✭✭skippymac6

Unreal finish in the cotton bowl. Petty throws for over 550 yards and is on the losing end of the result! Been some great games so far, hopefully the two ones tonight will be decent too

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,717 ✭✭✭polaris68

    Intercepted, Spartans win.

Baylor players, sideline and fans are shell shocked.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,792 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

If the two semi finals are as half as exciting as the cotton bowl we are in for a good hours of ball.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,100 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Baylor should never have lost that game today.

This game is the exact opposite to what most people expected. Only 11 points in the first quarter and neither QB looking good. Its like a regular season Florida State game where they give an advantage to the other team before coming back and beating them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,100 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I don't know how the officials missed the holding of Nick O'Leary there. It's terrible refereeing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,025 ✭✭✭skippymac6

That's some rout in the end delivered by Oregon. They really showed FSU no fear from the get go with numerous fourth down attempts and two point conversions etc. They'll be tough to stop in the title game

The one thing that came out of that game for me is that I wouldn't be spending a high first round pick on either of those QBs. Both did not look good when pressured and you can't teach that at this late stage imo.
