    Hoping to head to Edmonton next month, can anyone tell me what the place is like from work to nightlife to scenery. Is there a lot of jobs going around the place?

    What kinds of jobs are you looking for?
    City down town is not great but it has tonnes of parks and the river is pretty nice
    Most of the nightlife is concentrated on whyte ave near the university, its got a good mix of bars etc

    Thinking of heading there myself.My move away when there winter comes it looks very very cold at winter time.What you going doing over there?
