    Hi there!
I'm Italian and I've been accepted by the university of Bristol for the faculty of veterinary nursing and bioveterinary science. The problem is... My dream is to become a vet, not a vet nurse.. But the faculties of veterinary medicine I applied to rejected me :'( so my question is... If I accept bristol's offer and next year I apply another time for vet med, do I have more possibilities to be accepted? Or I have to become a vet nurse and then I can turn into a vet.... Please help me because no one here in Italy knows how to advise me... I'm desperate 😢

I don't know if one year of a vet nursing course will make an difference to your application next year, I don't think it would. Having a vet nursing degree would help you get into vet courses in Budapest or Slovakia. Did you apply to those colleges already?

No.. I should begin the vet nursing course in September... Maybe it's better if I try to graduate in vet medicine here in Italy and then go abroad as a vet already specialised...

If it's definitely a vet you want to be then I would apply to as many vet colleges as possible.
