    Hi there,

Can you please tell me how I can submit a meter reading online?  I used to do this regularly but can't seem to find the link on your website or on the bill any more....

    Thanks

Oh, and a second question just for my own info - one of my bills is habitually very low (it's for a holiday house) and is subject to the (exorbitant!!!) low-usage penalty.  If during a billing period the house is used a lot and the usage goes up accordingly, does the low-usage penalty apply for that period anyway?  Or is it calculated independently each billing period?  (Hope I'm making myself clear with that question!)

Found how to submit the meter reading :)

I'd still be interested in an answer to my second question, when the reps have time.

    Thanks.

    Hi HeidiHeidi,

Thank you for getting in touch with these questions. I'm glad you're now able to submit your meter readings online, thank you for your input foggy_lad.
We also have a Meter Reading App which you may find useful: http://elec.ie/MeterReadingApp

The Lower User standing charge is applied if you use less than an average of 2 units per day, per billing period. This means that some invoices may contain this charge and some may not. Further information about the Lower User standing charge can be found on our website: http://elec.ie/LowerUser

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Kind regards,
    Aoife
