    Big games

    Dm/Ramsey
    Walcott. Ozil. Scanhez
    Giroud

With a fcuk off bench too boot

That is for sure! Takin out a GK and a two defenders this is the

    Bench to be picked from:

    Flamini
    Diaby
    Arteta

    Wilshere
    Rosicky
    Cazorla
    Podolski
    Ox
    Gnabry
    Sanogo
    Campbell

And oops that is just for 4/5 positions on bench!!

If we get all our business done early we will have the new players well bedded in with the tour and the Emirates Cup.
We will be raring to go for a change.:D

I think we will sell Campbell and one of cazorla or podolski

I reckon it will be podolski

My favourite was the Liverpool thread the other day when it exploded into a Di Maria vrs Ozil debate. There are loads of great posters in there but some of them just had to put down the Arsenal man.

Unfortunatly with Suarez gone, they couldn't pick one of their players to compare him with.

What is funny is that if Di Maria joined Utd., suddenly Ozil would be twice the player di Maria is, those Liverpool boys are both funny and fickle.

True..maybe from other clubs. But it that is aimed at a lot of reasonable posters on here that is unfair.

They were all for Sanchez now they would rather Pedro :pac:

In all reality it would seem one or two have to go alright.

    Exciting times.

Thankfully I stopped buying newspapers a long time ago. Full of lies and sensationalist rubbish aimed at fools.

Ozil played very well tonight, unfortunately all the muppets will only remember his miss!

Sami Khedira was absolutely immense tonight as well and if its true that RM are offloading him we need to snap him up. Him and Ozil were almost telepathic at some stages in that match.

Not at all. I am talking about fans from certain clubs that just love to slate the man because its the popular thing to do. Theres no harm in constructive criticism but the way some of the media talk about him you would swear he was vauxhaull conference standard.

Most of those newspapers have different back pages printed for different areas of Britain. That one was probably intended for Liverpool or Manchester. The London edition would be entirely different.

Fernandinho, Paulinho, Willian, Oscar, Ramires all PL players that got hammered. Ozil wins 7-1 and gets slated

Mert and Kos are the ticket.

    Top class CB pairing.

The way I see it, let them all hammer on about Ozil, Mert etc. How they are crap and not worth 2p. All the while they'll put in great performances and without any fear of them going anywhere.

We could have 3 WC winners at the club next week.

4 if we sign Khedira :D

To be fair, weren't they 5-0 down before Willian even for on the pitch? And Oscar did score.

    Sanchez done! announced on thursday

another big signing likely this summer (not debuchey or GK)

3 keepers being looked at, expect 1 by the end of the month. casillas is one of them (he thinks)

CB for squad cover, looking at 2, one championship one PL

    vermaelen could be off though

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,333 ✭✭✭bad2dabone

Casillas, he was easily one of the best keepers in the world for a long time but his form has dipped alarmingly. I’m sure most of us saw when Mou dropped him and reckoned it was just Mou being Mou and asserting himself, when a new coach came in Casillas would be back as Real’s number 1. But Ancelotti had no grudge to bear and Casillas remained as backup for the league games and as a Cup Keeper. He was dodgy in the champions league final, and he was a disaster in the world cup. Not his reactions or his skills, but strangely his decision making that was so poor.
One of the issues that folks have with Szczesny is his tendency to make rash or insane decisions. Personally I wouldn’t fancy adding Casillas – and his no doubt sizable wage – to the team. I’d be looking for a homegrown player too since we’re adding more guys to the non-homegrown pool.

For all the wenger out people

Ozil signed cause of wenger and now scanhez is going to sign cause of wenger

The man still had the respect of world football

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,756 ✭✭✭emergingstar

On another note it looks like we're going to go big again for a midfielder

    I love this summer already

No don't put links to the Daily Mail here anymore. We should boycott that rag. Give em no clicks.

Ozil gets 8 for his performance from the UK Independent.

Most of the Brazilian players got 2 out of 10 LOL!

This is the article that the others are referring to. A positive Ozil article :)

Oscar has had a terrible tournament. Scoring the 1 in a 1-7 doesnt change that.

They're like the worst kind of boardsie's just posting inflammatory stuff for the attention.

This is a result of the print media losing money due to online communities. 10 years ago a lot of the posters here would have bought the daily rags. Now they have to figure out how to get clicks.

This must be one of the few years that there's a huge amount of talent available. Compared to last year this summer is like Christmas.

So we are getting Sanchez for a lower fee than Barca had paid Udinese for him all those years ago.
    Sounds about right. :P

Would anybody here actually welcome Kalou? I think he's well past his prime and we have much better players currently on the team.

If anybody wants to see Kalou in an Arsenal shirt they are more than welcome to never post here again.
Couldn't be dealing with reading any of that madness.

Are people happy with Giroud being our main striker again this season coming? I'm not tbh.

I like Giroud a lot but if we are going for the league I think we need a better target man.
