Is it me or can anyone here stand Pep? painted as the hero of football, but everything he represents, eg tika taka, is stuff i constantly despise. Along with turning Bayern into a bunch of divers and all what happened with Cesc i wouldnt be his biggest fan.

Didn't get to see that game and have avoided and will mainly avoid the soccer threads on boards during silly season for the most part. Luckily I have coursework to keep me occupied. Just wanted to pop in and say congrats to you guys on getting a piece of silverware. At lest Wenger deserves something. He one of the better managers in the PL and one of the few with decent class. I wonder will Jose continue to trot out the specialist in failure line over the next season.

That being the case I wonder is there an acceptance on the board that they or he needs to appoint a successor within that timeframe.

I would really hate for us to sign Bony, he would be good in the PL at best 15 goals but he aint gonna lead the line in the Champions League for us against top end teams. We deffo need to be aiming alot higher then that. Thats one thing about Wenger that really annoys me always looking for stuff on the cheap so he can mould them and take credit. We need quality now and buy cheap and let them creep into the team gradually.
