So more likely last 20 minutes of a game

There are a lot of really pathetic posts in here lately. Some really low brow "humour" and playground teasing.

...and I'm reading them all like this:

As much as I'd love to laugh at Liverpool all night long and believe me I would this is the UTD thread so lets get back on track.

A Spanish source is reporting that Barca are having a clear out in the summer with Fabregas, Song, Sanchez, Alves and Mascherano all to be transfer listed.

    http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/barca-pone-trece-jugadores-mercado-3265702

I wonder would Cesc be open to a move to UTD to join his mates DDG and Mata.

Who was I kidding, we aint done laughing yet

I reckon about 70 minutes in both games if he is ready and able.

Aren't they seeded 32nd? That means they'll end up in a group of big boys.

We are ranked 32 in UEFA but a lot of the teams with a higher coefficent than us haven't qualified, (e.g., the two Milans, Valencia, Leverkeusen), so our de facto ranking will be around 20th, so Pot 3.

I'm pretty sure the manner in which you have bottled it has eclipsed ours ten fold.

Record setting hot streak with your captain going full alpha 300 style with his motivantional speech to the troops. "We don't ****ing let this slip now". Maybe if he just walked of the pitch like every other player would have instead of going all big man on it he wouldn't have had everyone dreaming of the title and heaping presure on his young team mates.

Cue the next, match and Liverpool come up against a well organised team that knows how to defend. Captain Leonidas is passing at the back when "he ****ing lets it slip" and Chelsea end the winning streak.

The next match and your 3 nil up to Palace. I'm not sure you appreciate this, 3-0 up to Palace with 10 mins to go. Utd were 1-0 down to City.

Cue the biggest bottle job the EPL will ever see. Anyway don't worry, there is always next year.

You wont win the CL, we'll sign better players than you, we'll qualify next year easily.....and we'll more than likely still have more trophies than you next week let that sink in.

Its that short because Chelsea were in the middle of a cl semifinal and were out of the running of the pl so it was kinda obvious a weaker tram were going to play Liverpool

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,424 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

Liverpool were 1/6 to win the league before the Chelsea game.

It was a Pool mate on FB who put up the odds to slag another mate hence reason I remember.

They had a hand and half on title before last Sunday. No ifs or buts about it.

It's cute that some Liverpool fans think United will still only be challenging for Europa next season. Actually it's delusional

Because no team has ever ever gone from 7th to challenging for the title, and it's not like we're getting a manager in who specialises in winning league titles and shaping up to bring major players into the team

I think it's going take a few seasons before utd fans really realise the miracles ferguson was doing there.

Not really. Chelsea had to beat you to blow it open (9/2), City had to win away twice (2/5 + Evs at the time), to even get to where we were before tonight.

Whether you like it or not it'll be remembered as a bottle job. Losing to a somewhat makeshift side Chelsea side at home when all you needed was a point (and they seemed happy to play for one), decided that

Its only reading back over last 4-5 pages you can really see how much yee hurting this season. Its been a monumental rise for liverpool from 7th and an unprecedented fall for utd and yee are hating it haha!! great to be back in the limelight with CL in the bag and utd looking on with envy!!

Fair enough if you think it's a bottle job. You could argue Chelsea arsenal also bottled it as well. Everton bottled 4th place. It's the year of the bottlers.
